[ The previous evening had been an eventful one, to say the least. Emma wasn't sure what to make of most of it, but what she was sure of was that Graham needed to take a break from work. And so she had insisted that he return home for a night of rest and that she would take up the shifts for the rest of the night and morning.
It was still strange, the weight of the deputy badge on her belt and the new role she has in this town. She isn't sure if she likes it much-- but if it means a reason to stay and the ability to at least make sure that Henry is alright, then it's worth it.
Emma is now idly driving around the town in the deputy car, her eyes peeled for any suspicious activity as the sun begins to rise and the thick fog which had settled over the town begins to lift. The only thing she sees, though, is the familiar figure of Graham emerging from the woods. Her brows furrow, and she drives a bit faster to pull up next to the male. A part of Emma isn't sure how to confront him after last night, but what she does know is that he should be back at his apartment and resting. And so she rolls down her window to voice just that.]
