Once upon a time, the people of Storybrooke were once the characters from the fairy tales we all grew up with. Then the curse hit and everyone was trapped without their memories in the town we know quite well already.

We all know that story, of course, but what about before the curse? Well, that's where this post comes in. There are untold stories from before the curse that we would like to investigate and these flashbacks posts are where you tell them. Post with your character (with a location or plot idea if you wish) and tag others, as long as they are in their fairy tale forms (sorry Henry and Emma players). We ask that you warn for spoilers in your subject line if you intend to use knowledge gained from tonight's episode in your scenario. Thank you!

[ Snow helps when she can, and while they simply wait for the meat to cook, she sits back beside the fire. ]

You said you've been traveling since you were young. Have you traveled much of this realm?

No. It was mostly eastward and even further north. This is one direction I've not explored much. [ He elects not to mention how nearly half of that travel time was fighting in a war, hardly time for sight-seeing. ] Have you?

I've not traveled beyond this forest. [ It isn't entirely by choice, but she keeps that to herself. ]

[ He eyes her speculatively for a moment, then nods. ]

Just passing through this realm into the next?

[ She pauses, then finally nods. ]

That's the plan, anyways.

I wish you luck, then. It looks like the weather isn't going to agree with anyone's travel plans for a while.

[ She lets out a small sigh, before changing the topic. ]

What brings you to Lakesee?

[pettythief]

My caravan and I were just delivering goods. It was supposed to be a quick in-and-out sort of deal... [ He shakes his head. She can see for herself how well that went. ]

[ She can see that very well, and she cracks a small smile. ]


Maybe these parts of the woods are just unlucky.
